Each entry is a postcard sized watercolour sketch based on real events and memories from my life*. I will post one daily for a year.

Day 141 - The one in which I "Look like Ronnie Corbett"
Kay and I were interviewed by the BBC about our voluntary work on the 'lets get Spencer Tunick* to Folkestone' campaign, more details on which can be found here.

Day 133 - That got my attention!
Watch that scene here (it also involves him being stripped naked by 4 latex-clad ladies). The part I am referring to is in the last 10 seconds, by which time you should have worked out how to full screen the video (watch on the biggest screen you can find, trust me)
Apart from men in very tight lycra, the film contains an incredible soundtrack from Daft Punk, which includes this incredible cello piece: Adagio for Tron
I'm ready for Spencer! Are You? Vote Folkestone!
The Bored Artist and Studio Cat are 110% behind Strange Cargo's bid to get artist Spencer Tunick to make his next piece of work in Folkestone.

Day 123 - My Last Will and Testament
For those of you not up on your Greek Mythology, Andromeda was a beautiful princess chained naked to a rock by the sea waiting to be devoured by the horrible sea monster Cetus, in order to pacify the Sea God Poseidon, who was offended by her mother Cassiopeia's claim that Andromeda was more beautiful than the Nereids (sea nymphs). She was rescued by her future husband Perseus (returning from killing Medusa) who slew the monster.

Day 121 - Curiosity didn't kill the cat, but I nearly did....
For 'memorable', read REVOLTING.
No kittens were harmed in the making of this doodle. They were, however, scruffed and dunked in the shower and told how naughty they were.
(PS: I f my landlord is reading this; I steam cleaned the carpets)

Day 115 - Awesome Movie Quotes #1
That quote in context:
Frank Whemple:
Stuck in the desert for two months, and was it hot! That tomb...
Helen Grosvenor:
What tomb?
Frank Whemple:
Surely you read about the princess?
Helen Grosvenor:
So you did that.
Frank Whemple:
Yes. The fourteen steps down and the unbroken seals were thrilling. But
when we came to handle all her clothes and her jewels and her toilet
things - you know they buried everything with them that they used in
life? - well, when we came to unwrap the girl herself...
Helen Grosvenor:
How could you do that?
Frank Whemple:
Had to! Science, you know. Well after we'd worked among her things, I
felt as if I'd known her. But when we got the wrappings off, and I saw
her face... you'll think me silly, but I sort of fell in love with her.
Helen Grosvenor:
Do you have to open graves to find girls to fall in love with?
Love this poster!
