2.0 Day 127 - Marsh Fever

2.0 Day 126 - Wierd Laws #4 Forbidden Furries

The law, although harsh, was originally brought in to counter Australia's feral rabbit problem after rabbits (not an indigenous species) were introduced to the continent and their numbers raged out of control, negatively impacting many areas of the ecosystem and agriculture. It is now seen as antiquated as compulsory neutering/spaying and microchipping of pets would solve any potential problems caused by them. The Queensland authorities, however, have kept the legislation in place.
