Day 18 - Hugh Jackman all soapy and wet...... Sorry, what was I saying?

In case you haven't seen the film then it's about.....

.....Sorry, where was I? oh yes, the film in which he.....

Uhhhhhhhhhhh..... Concentrate. CONCENTRATE!!

So he's taking this shower and.....

DAMMIT!

Here's the clip:

My only criticism of the above clip is that it misses out the bit where he does this:

And here's the same scene on a loop for those who feel that Once just wasn't enough.

You're Welcome.

Day 16 - For those of you who remember Timmy Mallett

I had a flatmate at Art College who had been on Mallett's Mallet.

I have to say, in my opinion it was probably her only redeeming feature.

(ps: She lost).

Day 15 - It really stank inside that head

Here I am with my Polar Bear 'Boyfriend' and Nicky Slater.

Nicky was nice in public but had a little bit of a Diva-ish moment behind the scenes and grumbled about not wanting to do something. He took his cheque home quite happily though.

I couldn't walk in the giant floppy bear feet so had to take them off. I'm pretty sure we all had to go on the ice in costumes too.

Adjusting that Bloody head again!

Day 14 - Yes, I really did this.

We discussed the absolute TRAGEDY that there was no photographic evidence of this, but then concluded we had WAY more fun that modern kids 'cos our parents couldn't find out what we were up to with just one click on our twitter feed...

Day 9 - Don't believe them when they say it's difficult

Other things I have done:

Fitted a whole bathroom, tiled, wallpapered, simple electrical wiring, plastered, driven a tractor and ploughed. And today's post was late because I was fixing my laptop by installing updated drivers from the software companies websites (without any help from nerdy boys).

Another girl I know taught herself to fix all of her cars (with a little help from Haynes manuals).

Boys only make us think these things are difficult because they like to feel needed and useful.

Day 1 - My first doodles

These doodles were originally drawn for Strange Cargo's 'We Want your Doodles' project. I found doing them so enjoyable, and I have had such a good response that I think I will try to do them daily for a year!

The 'rules' (such as they are) are that they will be 5-10 minute pencil drawings with a short story on a piece of paper no bigger than A5. This means that although I spent years at art college, these will be relatively low quality drawings, done for the purpose of getting the thought down on paper quickly, not to show off my drawing skills.

They will be true stories, or random incidents that have happened throughout my life, and will be posted in no particular order.

Here are the first 10 I did for Strange Cargo:
