double dip dye it... the bottom part what ever outragous colour you had i mind, and the rest you do a light grey or other subdued version. or if you have a dress in a darker colour you like, dipdye the bottom in bleach and then in the colour you want, it will get "flamed" (not sure that is the right word for it, straight swenglish (swedish/english) but the effect should be cool :)

ReplyDeleteI've bought 2 dyes, a very pale porcelain blue and one a really bright ocean blue. so it will end up 3 tone! I'll post pics once it's done.
